Hydrostatic Tubing Testing
Tubing Testers Hydrostatic test units perform testing on
oilfield tubing and casing while it is being pulled out or ran back into the well. Our
hydrostatic test units are equipped with a custom “2 hose” bar tool system that is designed and manufactured in house. This allows our units to isolate the packer pressure from the tubing pressure to ensure the most accurate test in the industry.
Hydrostatic testing will detect all holes, high-pressure splits, weak areas, and faulty connections in the tubing string. We can also run a drift on the test tools to gauge for correct drift I.D. of the tubing. Our Units can test all sizes from 1 ½” to 4 ½” at pressures up to 15,000 p.s.i. In addition, we can test
salta-lined, I.P.C., ceramic lined, poly core, and hydril tubing. Our
Hydro-test units
are continually monitored to provide the customer with the highest quality and safety in the industry.
Electromagnetic Tubing Inspection
Tubing Testers E.M.I. units perform rig floor electromagnetic inspection while the tubing is being pulled out of the well. The inspection head is easily lifted onto the rig floor by the rig hoist line and positioned over the slips.
E.M.I. scanning
detects tubing wall loss caused from rod wear, pitting, and corrosion that can lead to future well failures. Our units utilize a compact inspection head, solid state wall monitoring, 3-deminsional flaw detection, split check, and real time data presentation at speeds up to 250 ft./min. We can inspect all tubing sizes from 1 ½” to 3 ½”. Upon the completion of a job, the customer will receive a custom “Well Profile” inspection report for continuous well management. Our E.M.I. units are continually upgraded with the latest technology in the industry.
Steaming
Tubing Testers Steam unit can be used for all
oilfield and non-oilfield cleaning jobs. Our steam unit can remove paraffin build up from the inside of all sizes of tubing. In addition the steam truck can clean vessels, tank batteries, rig floors, warehouses, holding tanks, privacy fences, parking lots, and anything else that would need high pressure steam cleaning. With the ability to produce steam at temperatures up to 300 degrees and pressure washing up to 3500 p.s.i., there is no job too big or too small. During freezing temperatures, this steam unit can be used to thaw any type of
oilfield equipment that holds or carries liquids. Our
steam boiler
is inspected annually and certified by the National Board of Boiler & Vessel Inspectors, and the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation to ensure the upmost safety compliance.
Pressure Recording
Tubing Testers Steam unit also has the capability of preforming
recorded pressure testing. With this service we can execute most of all state and federal required
pressure testing, such as
H5, BOP, and propane tank testing procedures. Our unit also has the ability to add nitrogen to any pressure test if required. We can test up to 10,000 p.s.i. and record up to 5,000 p.s.i. Our pressure recorders have been tested and certified for accuracy with the traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
